Wallpaper & specialist finishes.
Hand-printed papers, delicate murals and bespoke decorative finishes — installed with the patience and precision they demand.

Specialist papers and decorative finishes transform a room, but they are unforgiving of poor workmanship. We hang fine and hand-printed wallpapers and deliver bespoke decorative finishes to a standard worthy of the materials — frequently to an interior designer's exact specification.
Wallpaper hanging
From classic English papers to delicate hand-printed and silk wallcoverings, correct hanging is a craft: meticulous wall preparation and lining, careful pattern matching, precise trimming around cornice and joinery, and seams that disappear. The more valuable the paper, the more the preparation matters — and the more there is to lose in a hurried job.
Specialist & decorative finishes
Lacquered and high-build woodwork, eggshell and gloss finishes to a mirror standard, and bespoke decorative treatments where a scheme calls for them. These finishes reward flawless preparation above all — every imperfection beneath a high-sheen finish is magnified, so the surface must be made genuinely perfect first.
Working to a designer's specification
Much of this work is delivered to an interior designer's scheme — particular papers, specified finishes, exact colours. We are used to working precisely to a specification, coordinating with designers and other trades, and delivering the considered result the design intends.
Patience over speed
Specialist finishes cannot be rushed. Linings must dry, papers must be handled correctly, finishes must be built up in proper conditions. We programme this work to give each stage the time it needs — because with materials of this quality, the finish is the entire point.
Common questions
Asked often.
Do walls need lining before fine paper?
Almost always. Fine papers telegraph every flaw beneath them; properly prepared, cross-lined walls are the difference between seams that disappear and seams that announce themselves.
Can existing period wallpaper be protected during decoration?
Yes — and sometimes conserved rather than replaced. Original papers are protected while surrounding work proceeds, and their treatment is agreed at survey stage.
How is wallpaper work priced?
As a fixed written specification after survey — preparation, lining, hanging and finishing set out line by line before work begins.
Is the work guaranteed?
Yes — our workmanship is guaranteed for twelve months, and we hand over with zero snags as the standard.
